Bukarest (ADZ) - Seit Beginn der Covid-19-Pandemie gab es in Rumänien bisher 1141 Todesfälle unter Personen, die mit dem neuartigen Coronavirus infiziert waren. Zusätzlich sind im Ausland 104 rumänische Staatsbürger gestorben, davon 35 in Großbritannien, 31 in Italien und 19 in Frankreich. Der Krisenstab kündigte am Mittwochmittag weiter mit, dass 196 weitere Personen positiv auf den SARS-CoV-2-Virus getestet wurden, die Zahl der bisherigen Infektionsfälle ist auf 17.387 gestiegen. Als geheilt gelten 10.356 Patienten, aktive Erkrankungen gibt es in Rumänien zurzeit 5890, auf Intensivstationen sind 198 Patienten interniert.
Nach Landkreisen aufgeteilt wurden bisher im Kreis Suceava (3469) die meisten Fälle bestätigt, darauf folgen die Hauptstadt Bukarest (1674) sowie die Kreise Neamț (841), Arad (697), Botoșani (691), Muresch (659), Kronstadt/Brașov (646) und Hunedoara (617). In Klausenburg/Cluj gab es soweit 532 Infektionen, in Temesch 494, Hermannstadt/Sibiu 470, Karasch Severin 110 und Sathmar 58.
